CHECKOFF COLORADO

A Simple Way to Give – The first ever collaborative statewide public awareness campaign for the ten charitable funds eligible for donations on the Colorado state income tax form:
  • Create logo, graphic identity and theme for the campaign.
  • Write and produce Public Service Announcement for radio and TV featuring Governor Bill Owens.
  • Secure corporate partnerships.
  • Web site designed pro bono by Art Institute of Colorado
  • Create and distribute media kit and coordinate statewide press release distribution
  • Launch campaign with press conference at State Capitol with Attorney General Ken Salazar
  • Local and national media coverage including all Denver TV stations, Rocky Mountain News, statewide newspapers and TV, National Public Radio, Boston Globe, ABC News, San Francisco Chronicle, Christian Science Monitor, and Chronicle of Philanthropy
  • RTD bus and DIA airport signage, billboards, yard signs, buttons, posters, flyers, paycheck stuffers, and grass roots messaging in King Soopers and City Market stores, H&R Block offices, Colorado Tax Preparers Association meetings, newsletters, libraries, churches, and community associations.
