Cold War Patriots Help Nuclear Weapons Workers Exposed to Radiation

Pushkin PR was chosen to create a communications plan for the launch of a new Denver-based nonprofit called Cold War Patriots: www.coldwarpatriots.org. The group is the first national organization to connect nuclear weapons complex workers who became sick from radiation or exposure to toxic chemicals while serving their country during the Cold War to the resources and support they need. Workers who are eligible for a government benefits program are often frustrated by the bureaucratic maze that results in claims that are denied or drawn out so long that they literally die waiting for help.
