For more than 20 years, Jennifer has provided strategic communications counsel to government, nonprofit, professional services and corporate clients. She helps clients forge enduring relationships with their most critical audiences to align goals, build support and create movement.
Over the course of her career, Jennifer has led agency teams and served on the senior communications staff for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company. Prior to that, she spent almost eight years in local government, acting as a spokesperson and overseeing community involvement, public awareness, issues management, crisis communications, marketing and employee engagement programs.
Jennifer has won numerous awards for her work, creating programs that have been honored nationally by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and The Holmes Report/Inside PR. She also tutors local children through WhizKids Tutoring and serves on the board of Pura Vida, a nonprofit that builds schools and funds scholarships for indigenous children in Guatemala.
Jennifer has provided consulting services through national firms Ketchum PR and FleishmanHillard, regional agency MGA Communications and Pushkin PR.

Credentials
Jennifer holds a master’s in journalism and mass communications research from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a bachelor’s in political science from Grinnell College. She is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America and is a graduate of FEMA’s Emergency Management Institute Advanced Public Information Officer training.
